Jarnail Singh is a development practitioner at heart, focusing on how climate change intersects with social equity and behavioral communication. With nearly two decades of experience, he has worked across the spectrum of climate action and just energy transition.

Prior to joining Waverley, Jarnail was a Deputy Director at the MacArthur Foundation, where he co-led their climate portfolio in India. Jarnail has held roles at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and the Climate Group, advancing efforts in clean energy access, energy transition, and business-led climate action. In 2011, he was awarded the Feldman Fellowship at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management, Brandeis University.

He is also the co-founder of ikviti.coffee, a movement of neighborhood cafes designed to foster hyperlocal conversations and citizen-led action.
