Santiago Ayón Facundo

Santiago is a Program Associate at Waverley Street Foundation, providing programmatic and research support to advance the organization's strategic initiatives.

Santiago's work has spanned a wide range of social issues including environmental justice, education, and immigration through the lens of racial equity. Previously, he worked as a social impact consultant, partnering with for-profit, non-profit, philanthropic, and government agencies to push the needle on their social impact goals. In that capacity, he managed projects for various clients, focusing on operational support, research, and learning development.

Santiago holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a Certificate in Latino Studies from Princeton University. Outside of the office, Santiago is deeply involved in his hometown of East Palo Alto through community service and organizing.
